Using Lebara sim in an old phone

Does anyone know if the Lebara sim will work in an old 2g Nokia phone. I
know the a Three sim will only work with a 3g capable and didn't know if this applied to Lebara. For a short
period I will need to make more calls than usual and rather than change
my exising PAYG sim I thought a cheap rolling 30 day contract for 2-3
months would be a good alternative using an old phone to save extra expense.
I will still need to keep my existing number and phone/Sim but I can see switching sims in the phone to make calls would be a pain.

Lebara piggybacks onto Vodafone. If your 2G phone is unlocked (and the sim is still valid) it should work.0

Yes probably. I have an ancient Nokia (slide) phone (2g only) and, out of curiosity, tried the Lebara sim in that. Worked fine. The sim will be a multi sim type which is suitable for most phone sim requirements. My Nokia needs a full size sim so I tried it before pushing out the nano size!0

As far as I am aware the phone is unlocked but it hasn't been used for 7 years.
