Park Xmas Savings

Has anyone else had problems with Park Christmas Savings?
I have been an agent for them for the last couple of years with just myself and a friend saving with them for love2shop vouchers.
This year 3 other friends decided to join us and have been saving for the last 11 months. Park have had £2,400 from us altogether.
We finished paying at the end of October and should have had the vouchers in November. After 2 phone calls and being told both times that they had been sent out that day! The vouchers and combi cards finally came last week. (7th December). When I checked them, I was £450 of vouchers short. One of my customers was here at the time and I'm glad she was, she checked them and yes I was right. But when I looked at the despatch note, which was computer generated. The number of vouchers and the serial numbers had been changed manually, with no signature or initials at the side of the change. I rang Park and they emailed me a claim form, which I have completed and emailed back, along with a scanned copy of the despatch not and my driving license (as my ID)
They say they are investigating it, but in the meantime I have a very (and understandably so) irate customer, who is relying on the vouchers for Christmas.  I had what is called combi cards  (£100 Saisburys/£100 Love2Shop card) I have offered these to my customer, but she said she was goving the vouchers as gifts, so the card is of no use to her.
I have been onto the Park Facebook page and there are so many complaints on there of people not getting their vouchers and/or cards. That I am worried that these vouchers are not going to turn up and my customer is £450 short.

I have phoned everyday and never get to speak to the same person and they can never tell me anything.

I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and if so, what their outcome was?
As youu imagine, we won't be using them again!

If you are an agent and your buyer bought via you and not direct from Park I think that might leave you in a sticky position, not your buyer. Your buyer can expect you to make up any shortfall and you would need to chase Park to recoup your losses, assuming this works like other third party sales. Did buyer pay you or Park, and how did they pay?

Hopefully though it is just a mistake and you will get this sorted easily.

I can't see a date for this article but I think it's fairly recent.

The buyers pay me and I then pay Park. I can't afford £450!
  • I’ve never had any issues. Although I only have an account for myself and I’m not an agent. I only save fir a small amount each year too. This is why I’d rather not act as an agent so I don’t have to deal with issues. Surely you have bank statements to prove payment? That should help if issues arise to say you didn’t pay.

I am sure your buyer can't either, unfortunately you took their money and whilst I am sure this is all just a mistake somewhere and will sort itself out, you are responsible for your buyer's money.
