  • I've finally had a chance to add my October collection to my pot - a massive £30 (wasn't expecting that).  We are back playing bingo - totally socially distanced with many wearing masks, doors kept open wide and only 1/6 of the players compared to before lockdown.  One of my friends brings me a couple of £2 coins each week and I got lucky with 2 in the self service machine in Mr T's the other day so it's all added to the collection.  All plain except for a Shakespeare's comedy and a 100th Anniversary of the First World War one.

  • Ah thanks GemGem - I will wear it with pride.  Seems I'm having a last minute rush of beautiful gold bullion which I'm thankful for considering how badly the year started.  Went bingo last night and had two little shouts - lucky me there were more £2 coins in my winnings!  So another £12 going in the pot today!

DH received a couple of plain coins in his change. Sadly no picture coins.
Hope everyone had a good weekend.

A whopping 24 coins for me in October! £48 pounds! Mostly plain but one was a FLorence Nightingle and the other was the Act of Union (jigsaw pieces).
Going to bank some now so that I can spend them on Christmas shopping!
Not far off my total, only £14 - 7 cons away now!  :)
