You paid £200 for the company to do additional work that you requested. It takes more than a few minutes work to amend a booking in most cases. If you didn't want to pay the £200, you should have waited for cancellation and re-booking.BurnCK said:
I understand that but because they cancelled the holiday on me it seems a bit unfair that I paid £200 for nothing. If the holiday went ahead then obviously I'd have nothing to complain about, even though £200 for a few mins work is a bit of a rip off in the first place. Fair enough, just thought I'd ask.MarkN88 said:
You said in the original post you chose to amend the booking to extend it, therefore you asked for a change, therefore they did their “administrative” role and you incurred a cost.BurnCK said:
Why should I lose £200 when they cancelled it on me and I then had to rebook the same accommodation with them for the same dates? Seems a bit of a con.MarkN88 said:Why should the company lose the admin fees when they did as you asked? They have to be paid for their time too.💙💛 💔1
