House Buying, Renting & Selling - My Top Threads of All Time (guess what's number one?)

I completed today on my purchase. It has taken literally 13 months from starting to view places. We have gone through plague, near-redundancy, terrible conveyancers, murder graffiti, and crazy arguments and YOU, yes YOU have kept my head on straight!
I’ve groaned, laughed and been astonished by this forum and the selfless people who spend so much time helping out others.
As a thank you I would like to present the most educational/entertaining threads I’ve found, please share yours too! Because of the new forum interface it's nearly impossible to find old popular threads unless you know what you're looking for ( I found these by sorting by 'most comments' on the old forum interface, now sadly gone...)
Starting with…
8. Neighbours huge decking - a problem with bullying nuisance neighbours took a turn for the insane when they held a seance in the back garden with a pentagram and cauldron (casserole dish)! https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/77547715/#Comment_77547715
7. A seriously SCARY situation - what happens when a stranger tells you that your new house is actually still his? https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5683179/seriously-scary-situation/p1
6. Every single “Have a look at this!” thread with all the bonkers, glamorous, ugly and unique properties:
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3217014/the-have-a-look-at-this-thread/p1
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3403965/the-have-a-look-at-this-thread-ii/p1
https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/6097203/new-have-a-look-at-this-thread/p1
5. Vendors pull out AFTER exchange of contract. A truly rare example of a buyer who tried to pull out after exchange, all chronicled through to the end of the legal action by poster Welshwoofs. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/1806123/vendors-pull-out-after-exchange-of-contract/p1
4. Another fun story, this time ‘Buyers are camped in our garden over Christmas’ which makes for a farce of epic proportions. What would you do if your wacky buyers showed up a week before exchange in a motorhome? https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2943078/buyers-are-camped-in-our-garden-over-christmas/p1
3. The fascinating story of a seller who wouldn’t complete, with a crazy twist. A cautionary tale of negligent solicitors and a slippery seller. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4663325/seller-failing-to-complete-on-sale-of-flat-help/p1
2. Big Badger House! This soap opera saga of the landlady and her revolving cast of lodgers over about eight years was better than most TV shows. The romance! The cat! Narnia! https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/917993/big-badger-house-aka-noisy-lodger-hes-gone/p1
And of course, number 1, the most infamous MSE thread of all time … there really was no question …
Our buyer wants to bury their dead dog in our garden https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2636903/updated-its-done-our-buyer-wants-to-bury-their-dead-dog-in-our-garden/p1

At least two of those threads were by the same bloke with a fantastic sense of humour and a vivid imagination. But not actually true stories, brilliant nonetheless.2

@Bad_Accountant
Congratulations!
When I can make the same post, I'll take a look at your favourite threads for some light relief.
Until then I'll keep on the with the almost full time job of covering every aspect of our house sale (15 weeks and counting) and house purchase mark 2 (2 weeks in and being pressured by vendor, despite having already arranged to buy searches from their previous failed buyer and arranged survey to be done next week)
Enjoy your new home3 -
I can't find the thread by a Mr Bad Example, who posted a photo of a human bone which he claimed he'd dug up under his patio when landscaping the garden....only he didn't say it was human and thought it was probably cow or something like that.Cue many concerned people telling him to go to the police and him prevaricating....2
