Paid higher price than box states

Good Evening,
I have purchased a pair of trainers from sports direct online, I paid £45 + £4.99 delivery. Upon arrival I have looked on the box and there is a large sticker on the side that states SALE was £49.99 now £35. I have emailed asking why I have been charged £10 more than the price stated on the box also attached a photo show price and invoice. Would anyone know if I am likely to be refunded £10 or told to jog on (pardon the pun).
Thanks in advance.

Careless of them but and can understand you being cheesed off but you have got what you agreed to pay for.
At the end of the day prices go up and down all the time.
You could always return them.3 -
No harm in asking but they'll probably refuse, you also have the option of returning them and seeing if you can buy them at the other price.

Very much an error - they'll probably only offer a full refund on return though rather than a partial refund - but no harm asking.0

If the box had said £55 on it would you have sent them the difference?3
