EZY Hands free - laptop?

Due to the EZY new baggage policy, they have offered us 'Hands Free' for free.
I normally put my laptop in my hand luggage but obviously don't want it to disappear into the hold.
What do seasoned travellers normally do in these circumstances?
(We did do 'Hands Free with Three' a couple of years back but the promised 'tote bag' wasn't available)

You can still take a small bag on the aircraft certainly big enough for a laptop?0

I'd agree, that's the obvious solution. Just needs to fit under the seat in front.jonesMUFCforever said:You can still take a small bag on the aircraft certainly big enough for a laptop?Evolution, not revolution0 -
Yes, but the way I read it, is that the small bag is instead of the traditional hand luggage sized bag.

No Easy Jet are just following other airlines - it is the small suitcases that people used to put in the overhead lockers that will now have to go into the hold.
If your bag fits underneath your seat then you should be fine.0 -
Sorry, I didn't explain properly - we already have flights booked and they have emailed to say the rules are changing but .... <<However, because you booked before these changes were announced, we would like to offer you Hands Free, free of charge, for the affected flights>>

Yes, the above comments are still true. Hands free is for a larger 'carry on' suitcase, which will be placed in the hold for free. But you can still take a small bag on board that fits under the seat - which can include your laptop. Just check the dimensions. So if you take the hands free you can check a large 'carry on' suitcase for free. But you can still take your laptop on board. Most airlines tell you to keep valuables with you ideally.J_B said:Sorry, I didn't explain properly - we already have flights booked and they have emailed to say the rules are changing but .... <<However, because you booked before these changes were announced, we would like to offer you Hands Free, free of charge, for the affected flights>>
