@Frugaldom Wow, that sounds amazing! I've had a look at their website - some of the 'Hut Inspiration' huts are really gorgeous! Yours sounds wonderful too with its lovely verandah. Fingers crossed for you that your PP will come through quickly and you'll be able to make a start soon

It is very windy on our island today, so the snow has been blown into drifts on the main roads. I was planning to go into town, but decided to stay home & make the last two covers for our settee. The foam for the back cushions was given to us, so there is a small gap between them, but very pleased with managing to eek the curtain material out, to cover all the bits on view!Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Thank you for all the good wishes and positivity towards a successful outcome for our PP application. It's taken many years of plotting, planning and saving to get this far so I'm hoping we can get started in Spring.
@willow_loulou, thank you.I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

@Frugaldom I've gone back to the saving to buy a house without a mortgage thread for inspiration and am enjoying the frequent problems caused by actually getting interest on savings! 2008 pre crunch was a completely different time.

@Frugaldom good luck with your latest venture!!
I am inspired by everything you are doing and how you are living. Will check out the link you posted in a previous post about the huts. 😃
In another forum someone posted about setting up a Mon$o account purely to have their eBoy sales paid in to so they don’t have to use PP which now takes a commission as well 😳.Great idea, as I wasn’t keen on giving eBoy my account details as my DOH has had his account hacked once or twice.
Will be making another sale later today as have something on auction so this will go towards my worst cc debt.....chipping away chipping away.
Have a lovely Sunday everyone x10 -
Have been snowed in since last sunday. Planned my special offers shopping for next week. Douwe Egberts coffee capsules 1+1 half price, which is the best deal we can get. This offer doesn't happen regularly so I shall get 20 packs for €62.85 which works out 16cents a capsule, a lot better than nespresso at 48cents, which is what we were paying before they discontinued DH's favourite blend thankfully, I'm a tea drinker. I will also stock up on OralB toothpaste 1+2 free at €5.69 a pop, that's a really good deal.

@Frugaldom wow those huts look amazing!! I could live permanently in one of them quite happily 😊
I have just come across an energy saving firm called SaveMoneyCutCarbon in which they will virtually go round your house with you via a video app with you and tell you where you can save money and slash your energy bills. Hope I’m allowed to share this 🤞. I shall be checking him out!11
