At the moment there is no county court , it's not been allocated yetjacqueh26 said:
The claim is real, I had a claim form and I returned an acknowledgment of service. I checked with the county court and confirmed they received it. But BW legal were sent me an email saying that I didn’t acknowledge service so essentially I have to pay-but i guess this is just a scare tactic. They are so evil. It got me spooked ngl, so I had to double check with county court.Le_Kirk said:If you have a received a N1 claim form from Northampton CCBC, you need to submit an AoS (check the NEWBIE) and start preparing your defence. If you have not received a claim form, then BW Legal are up to their tricks again. This was posted about sometime last week when BW Legal threatened someone with all sorts of dire consequences and it tuned out the wasn't actually a live claim form in existence.
You mean the BC , as in CCBC in Northampton
You will be nominating your local county court in a few weeks time !!
It's important to get your facts right and have 2 days to get the defence in , the SAR and other details can wait until the defence has been filed
No deadline has been missed , yet , as long as your online MCOL history says the date the AOS was logged2 -
Hi, I have an update regarding this case. I'm unsure how to proceed. I got 2 letters today, one date 12/2/21 entitled "general form of judgement or Order" and the other dated 14/2/21 entitled "Notice of transfer of proceedings". The 1st one says that I was sent Notice of proposed allocation and didn't return the Directions of Questionaire in time: I filled this in and posted it 1st class 3 working days before the deadline, so they would have got it on the deadline at the latest. The letter says I need to apply to have the Order set aside, varied, or stayed within 7 days.
The second letter is what I was expecting at this stage, after filing the directions questionnaire. It says that the claim has been transferred to Sheffield county court, which is what I selected as preference, and that I should await allocation. I'm not sure if it's a mistake that they sent both of these letters or if there was a delay and they received the directions of questionnaire late but had already sent the 1st letter. Or is it normal procedure to receive both letters? Either way, I don't know what to do. Should I ring up and ask what's going on or wait and see if I get a hearing date? I've attached both letters.

Just download , fill in and email a DQ to the ccbcaq email address asap !!
Once received , it will move to the next stage
Email a copy of the DQ to the claimant too , details are on the claim form for them
If you chose Sheffield then maybe the DQ was received , so login to MCOL and check your claim history , same as anyone else would do3 -
Just a thought - are the claim numbers the same on the two docs?
Or do they relate to two different claims at different stages.3 -
Gah! NOONE said to POST the DQ! The newbies thread says to email. Every thread says to email.
Check MCOL. It will tell you if the DQ was received.3 -

Your claim was transferred to SHEFFIELD on 14/02/2021
That's fine.
From reading the NEWBIES thread you know that next you'll receive a Notice of Allocation from the hearing court.
