Android phones and Fitbit Versa 2

Just wondering if anybody could help out with a recommendation on a £200-250 Android phone that they have successfully managed to get to work with a Fitbit Versa 2. Fitbit have a list of approved phones that are all at least 12 months old - none of the newer phones with the better screens/battery life. I had an absolute nightmare 2 years ago trying (unsuccessfully) to get a Fitbit to work with a Huawei P20 Lite. I bought a Versa 2 as a present for my daughter after finding out that people had it working with her phone (2 year old Honor 10). Of course in the meantime her Honor 10 has started to play up. I'm really asking if anybody has a newish phone that they have managed to get working successfully with this smartwatch. If you go onto the Fitbit forums, a mod jumps in straight away and just points you to the approved list. There are a lot of very good, excellent value phones out in that price range (Xiaomi, Moto, Samsung etc), I would be very grateful if somebody could just say that they have an xxx and it works fine with a Versa 2.

Well I have a Samsung M31 (found exclusively on Amazon) and it works with my Fitbit Versa 20
