For Fibre broadband you need to switch off the router for 30 minutes to do a full reset.
Just turning the router off for a minute will be more than enough and any longer will make no difference at all.

Have you had a look at the router stats to establish exactly what speed your line is on sync at? Also the router logs to establish if there are any inherent problems with the line dropping etc

Agreed- I usually switch off mine only briefly- but OP has already tried that and my ISP (TT as well) does say 30 minutes switched off for a full router reset.

Just had a similar conversation with my mother about TT.  In her case, it stopped working and they told her she had to upgrade to make it work, but apparently agreeing as such has made no difference, its still faulty.

Haven't been able to find out all the details yet unfortunately as I've been ill and she's in her mid-70's and not easy to understand on the phone, so it may be a red herring.
