Hunter will highlight any discrepancies between submitted applications. The enquiring finance organisation is unlikely to ask anything further of you. Will simply decline your application.
I know someone who sold their company for many millions. Obviously their circumstances changed massively, in a short period of time. You should have seen the problems she had getting credit afterwards because her income and wealth had suddenly increased. And yes, nowhere to argue the case, just straight declines. Kind of ridiculous really. National Hunter is like using a sledgehammer to crack a nut and lenders should not take it at face value.
  • Thanks all, no CIFA'S marker... so must just be my credit history. I just don't get why they approve accounts and then close them..

Hunter serves a purpose. Application discrepancies simply raise into question how truthfull some is. The questions asked are straightforward and factual to answer. No reason for inacccuracy.

Did you provide your full address history when you applied for your data from CIFAS?
