I have RFID blockers because, why not?
It seems no different to me than locking the house when I go out, or locking the car when I park.
I don't have to, but it seems silly to test the local scallywags as to whether they'll try to the door or not.
Many wallets today are just wallets and happen to include the RFID layer anyway.

Locking a car or your house are a way different from RFID blockers. Leaving your door unlocked, a criminal just needs to walk in. The tech needed to somehow skim and clone cars is way more complicated and technical than the average criminal could muster
