Getting in touch with Virgin Media

This bunch really are cowboys.
I log into my account and they've overcharged me for my broadband only package.
I try to chat online but nobody is there.
I click the links re "offers" (as package is due to end soon) and come up with a blank page.
I ring the 0345 number for 35 minutes and don't get through to a soul.
--->>> This coming month I'll be paying £42 a month for 100MBPS broadband whilst new customers get £25 or so for same deal.
This just isn't right. How on EARTH do you get in touch with them? Feels like robbery that they can just up the charge without you being able to get in touch to discuss.
VERY poor communications (in fact, none!!)
I also filed a complaint and have got ZILCH back.

If you originally signed up for a 12 or 18 month minimum term contract, is it more likely your new customer or retention deal discount has now come to an end. You are perhaps now out of contract and being charged full price on monthly contract.
Try phoning Virgin at less busy times. eg. first thing when they open at 8am. Around 2-3pm, Mon-Fri, may be quieter period. The waiting time should be shorter. Other ISPs are no different in my experience.

Thanks - yes that's exactly it but I have two "deals" on my account which end Dec 31 and they've come off early.
Have tried the quieter times but has been dire so far trying to get in touch.
I really hope they can do me a decent deal.0
