#2 up to £778.  I should reach the £800 mark next month, but Prolific earnings have tailed off in the past few months.  I'm now putting my weekly  'My Nectar' savings towards this fund - £4.30 this week - every little helps!

I've ordered my first lot of Christmas presents from Argos today.  Got triple nectar points as I have just switched over to Sainsbury's Energy - 'No, I don't work for Sainsbury's'!
    #2 Saving for Christmas 2024 - £1 a day challenge. £325 of £366

@kdalwayskint, I've been buying bits and bobs  for stocking fillers all year! We usually make a wish list and choose a few things to buy for each other...DH, 2 x DDs and my Dad. Plus a few friends who get something small.
When our girls were old enough to understand that they didn't need lots of stuff, we decided that we would put together a few Christmas shoeboxes to send to children who would otherwise get nothing. So I start collecting as soon as they go in November each year.

That’s so amazing!! Is there a charity that you send these shoeboxes to? It’s such a lovely idea.

We send them through Operation Christmas Child, part of Samaritans Purse, but there are a lot of groups doing this. Some folks don't like the Christian ethos of SP, so I would suggest they look for a different charity. If you Google Operation Christmas Child it should come up with all the information you need.
I'm the coordinator for our church, so I start early! 😉
