  • Still not spending much so only £4 more to report but every little helps 😊.
Morrison’s are discontinuing their vouchers soon but I’m almost due one; I’ll collect that and then probably switch to one of the German stores. If planning goes through, one will be built in walking distance so I’ll toddle over with my trendy trolley and save on fuel too 🥳

#30 - I've paid in £60 so my total is £190 now.  Technically, this is my Feb saving as I am a bit behind.
Hope everyone is having a relaxing weekend :)

Sandyshores, I have our home insurance in January, so I sympathize with you. I keep separate accounts for Christmas and bills. It just means another standing order from the main account. We have a few bills that I pay annually rather than by monthly DD as it's cheaper, so that's what one account is used for. I worked out roughly how much it would be and pay that much each month into the account. Sorry if this sounds like I'm ' teaching granny to suck eggs'! I hope it might help someone with budgeting.
Hi @MrsCD, thank you, I'm always pleased for any advice.  I've let things slip a bit since we've become debt neutral, and its a good reminder that I need to be more organised.  My spreadsheets are a bit crazy (I know what they mean) so I need to streamline them, which will be also probably mean more money saved

Haven't posted for a few weeks so thought I'd get my totals up to date.
#4 is now at £161 - £10 more than I should be, but in my haste to get the money stashed away safely, I managed to put a £10 note in the wrong savings pot   :D.
