    👋 Hi Everyone
    Hope you're keeping well?
There's some amazing looking balances on the first page now, well done everyone x
Please do remember this is a go at your own pace kind of thing, don't get stressed if you can't always put in, just think that anything you do manage to save will be less of a burden when December comes (or earlier if you like to start your Christmas shopping early 😊).
    Actually, has anyone started yet?
    Catch you soon x

Just realised I hadn't put my own total on!
I had a little look at the list and realised I'd listed someone twice, so now there is a gap at 21!

I fill a few shoeboxes every year for the Operation Christmas Child appeal, so I've already started collecting for them. I have notebooks, pencils, soaps and some tennis balls, and I had some hats and scarves that I received late last year from a friend. DH's birthday this week so concentrating on that right now.

I'm a last minute shopper, but I have some biggish bills at xmas - cats insurance, cats vaccinations and car service.  Fund came in really handy last year and I'm trying to save more this year so there'll be a bit more left over actually for xmas

Sandyshores, I have our home insurance in January, so I sympathize with you. I keep separate accounts for Christmas and bills. It just means another standing order from the main account. We have a few bills that I pay annually rather than by monthly DD as it's cheaper, so that's what one account is used for. I worked out roughly how much it would be and pay that much each month into the account. Sorry if this sounds like I'm ' teaching granny to suck eggs'! I hope it might help someone with budgeting.
