Samsung/Amazon cashback deals advice pls

if you use the deal for the A51 it brings it down to £195 and if through a cashback site there's an extra 2.5% off so overall £190. It seems a good deal but is it a decent phone? Reviews seem variable but I don't need a phone for more than messages, banking, music and photos and I've never paid more than £100 for a phone before - my last 2 phones have been temperamental moto g variants

It depends what you want from the phone. Does it do what you want and are any additional features over those in the normal phone you would buy worth the extra money?

From a general point of view, the A51 is considered a decent phone but as I say it’s really down to whether it is worth the extra money to you.

I agree with @tempus_fugit its a decent phone my mate bought the a40 last year done him ok I got a g7 power thinking it was duel sim and nfc it wasn't haha my fault I ended up getting the Samsung a21s has duel sim and nfc amd 5000mah battery does the job did everything I wanted the motor g7 power to do but that was my fault tho

Did the offer change?   The discount only applies if purchasing another Samsung Product.  So to get the £50 or £80 discount

you need to buy something else at the same time (like a watch).

If you were buying both or can resell the watch for the difference thenall good otherwise you will have spent more than
