Eurocarparks LBC CST LAW

Are you sure it's a real LBC and not a debt crawler letter masquerading as one?
There is a group CST Law fightback thread where you will see examples of both and advice on how to deal with them.
CST letters' forum group thread — MoneySavingExpert Forum
If it's a debt collector letter it will tell you they are acting on behalf of a debt collector such as DRP or Zenith or ZZPS who in turn are acting for the PPC.
If it is a true LoC they will be acting on behalf of the PPC.
The former can safely be ignored. For the latter, yes send an SAR as per the NEWBIES, and follow the guide to court written by bargepole that you will find in the second post of the NEWBIES that takes you step by step from the LoC to the court hearing.
What happened when you complained to the landowner?I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Its definitely a LBC.
I couldn’t find who owned it. It’s a car park not linked to shops. It’s also common knowledge in the area that the landowners don’t get involved so I didn’t try.1 -
Okay, then it's off to the second post of the NEWBIES to read bargepole guide.
You will need to include proof of ID with your SAR such as a copy of the V5C or two redacted utility bills/bank/card statements.
Get pics of the site and signage, and see if there is anything useful on Google Streetview with regards to the entrance. You can use the time slider to see if there are images either side of the alleged event to prove what the signs looked like at the time.I married my cousin. I had to...I don't have a sister.

Deal with it as a LBC as per the NEWBIES FAQ sticky, second post. We have yet to see any of these materialise into any court proceedings orchestrated by CST. It's believed that it's just a further element of scam by malevolently terming the letter 'LBC'.Seaholly12 said:Its definitely a LBC.

I suspect you'll have a long wait!
On whose behalf do they purport to be acting? Check carefully what the letter says. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .
I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

By now you should have read the CST thread.
CST will have said they have been instructed by DRP ... that is their normal rubbish
This is a so called legal who is clueless about the facts of life2 -
This is a section of the CST LAW letter:
We are instructed by Debt Recovery Plus Limited ("DRP"), as the agent of Euro Car Parks Ltd, to begin legal action against you to recover the outstanding amount. We are
informed that you have failed to settle the amount owed or provide a valid reason for non-payment.....
The charge amount includes '15.00 claimed by our Client for the time spent and resource
facilitating the recovery of the charge. The amount is a pre-determined and nominal
contribution to our customer's losses as a direct result of your non-payment.
In the event the outstanding debt is not paid in full, we are instructed to begin legal
proceedings. Our client is satisfied that it has sufficient evidence to support this claim and, if
necessary, will rely on this evidence in Court......

It's best if all posters just stay on the CST Law group thread as we can't keep dealing with tedious CST Law letters, saying the same old stuff again and again because posters think they have a real LBC.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
