Tap water too hot

Hi all,
We have just moved into a house and the kitchen tap takes a while to heat and then seems to get far too hot. It's a mixer and tricky to find a comfortable 'warm' point
I can probably live with that but the bathroom hot tap is scalding hot so it is impossible to wash your hands properly. Any ideas what I can do?
Boiler is:

The bath hot tap seems fine and doesn't get to the scalding temperature and my wife is keen that the bath tap isn't made cooler as she feels it won't be hot enough to get bath to the right temperature for little one!
Any ideas?

If there's no dial on the panel of the boiler to adjust the water temperature yourself, you'll need a gas engineer to adjust the boiler. I'd arrange to get the boiler serviced and ask the engineer to adjust your hot water temperature at the same time. A service will cost £70-£100 and they shouldn't charge for adjusting the water temperature. If you get someone out to just adjust the temperature, the cost is going to be near enough the same.0

Add some cold water to sink / basin when washing hands? The world is not ruined by the wickedness of the wicked, but by the weakness of the good. Napoleon3

In my bathroom I have a mixer tap in the basin, but still added a thermostatic valve so that hot water is never hotter than ~40 degrees (adjustable). I still can make it colder if I wish or use cold water only.

Your Ch gauge is too low too , the pressure should at 1.5 bar (where the red dial is) yours is less than 0.5 bar I'm surprised your central heating is working
Because of this I agree with the others a service is probably in order , doesn't sound like the previous owners took much care of it0 -
Wooo, that must be an oldie. As Grumb suspected, it doesn't have a DHW temp control.
Instead, it works like an electric shower - the more water you draw (faster flow from tap) the cooler the water will be due to the boiler having a fixed, limited heating ability.
"DOMESTIC HOT WATER TEMPERATURE CONTROL By slightly reducing the flow of domestic water from the tap, the delivery temperature will be increased. This is of particular advantage in the winter, for example to increase bath water temperature and to remove heavy grease deposits on plates, etc. Also this will provide an added advantage of reducing the delay before hot water is obtained."
Ergo, the reason your bath temp is less is 'cos the bath taps runs faster. Looks like there's no way to adjust this, so you either need to 'take care', fit thermostatic taps, or save up to replace the boiler. Until then, turn on your kitchen/basin taps to 'full' for max flow = lower temp.

Hot tap on bathroom basin gets too hot here. Husband told me to put cold into basin first. He says that the reason it's very hot, is to kill legionella.0

Do you have a hot water tank? Has it got an immersion heater that is permanently turned on?0

He doesn't - it's a combi.
I think the cause has been answered.0
