Paint wall looks darker?

I painted this wall white but there is an area that keeps on coming out looking like a shaded darker. The pictures attached are as I am sanding it down now but what do I do to stop it coming out like that when I paint it?

Can't tell from your pics, just looks like shadows to me , what paint are you using?0

Because the wall clearly isn't flat. I'd agree with the poster above, in that it looks like where a doorway was once located.ben100000 said:

On the last photo that imperfection on the left, is it possible to sand that completely out?neilmcl said:

Have you left plenty of time for it to dry fully? - different plaster etc can change drying times0
