Carphone Warehouse cancelled my order after credit check and payment
I ordered a Samsung S20 refurbished from mobiles.co.uk with a Vodafone contract prior to black Friday, and on their website it said it was in stock.
I am currently with Vodafone anyway (you cant port numbers on the same network) , and they could not match the offer that mobiles.co.uk could do, so I got my PAC code to do a triangular portation ready for my delivery. I passed a credit check and money was taken from my account, and a few hours later I was sent an email saying that they had no stock, but on the website it was still showing that they had stock. A week went past and I got an email to say that they had cancelled my order. I am sure any e-tailer has this in their Ts&Cs . What narks me is that I have a credit check on my file, and if I go for another check, it will not look great. I would still take out that deal, and don't mind waiting for another 2-3 weeks. Any advice ? many thanks
