So the scary letters worked exactly as intended.
Makes me wonder why some people bother posting on here when it appears they're only after a specific answer and will ignore anything that isn't that answer.  Might as well save everyone the time and effort and not bother making a thread in the first place.

Not sure who that is aimed at....but thank you for your comment.
  • I’ve borrowed my friend the 220 pounds and he will pay me back the 40 per month.

Hopefully you lent it to him, rather than borrowed from him.  I don't think he can afford to start lending money.
Yes I lent him the money to pay off this debt...to stop the texts and the phone calls from the solicitor..so now he is stress free and worry free.
    thanks all for your comments

    So you let them win.

That's sad. They'll keep doing this to other debtors knowing their sharp tactics are going to go unchallenged.

The only ‘winner’ from this is my friend...no more debt...no more worry....the ability for the solicitor to call.text.send letters has now gone.

Does your friend not have a debt to you? If your friend decides they cannot pay you, would that not cause stress?
