BT speed test significantly faster than the independents?

Just upgraded to BT Full Fibre 100, which is 150 Mbps down and 30mbps up and guaranteed at 100mbps.
I tested with the BT wholesale speed checker and it comes up 200mbps!
However, I tested about 5 different ones found on the search engines and they're all showing c50mb/s.
Can anyone technical in these things spread any light on why the large discrepancy prior to my going back to them?
Cheers,

Are you doing these speed tests wired to the router? Don't do them wireless, it's not a fair result if you do them wireless.

Yes sometimes the FTTP will show higher for me .Often the other testers connect to different server locations and may not be your nearest.0

AFAIK BT speed test are to the WAN side of the router whereas others test through to your computer and take into account wifi and any other processingNever under estimate the power of stupid people in large numbers0
