Yes, the company name (Britannia Parking) is correct. As this is a critical and potentially pivotal point in all Britannia cases, you need to very carefully and pedantically examine the actual name shown on the PCN, that shown on the N1 court claim form, and that shown on the signage. Just saying 'Yes, the company name (Britannia Parking) is correct', doesn't persuade me that the check has been done thoroughly - forgive me if I'm wrong. All their documents/signs state 'Britannia Parking', but it's what comes immediately after that that counts. If your dyslexia causes you not to be able to check 'forensically', please ask someone to help. What we need is to be shown the full name (including 'Limited', 'Group', 'Company' or whatever) and company registration number against each of the following:
- The Parking Charge Notice
- The Letter Before/Of Claim
- The N1 Court Claim Form
- The Britannia signage in the car park.
Then you might get additional advice on refining your approach to defending the claim. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

As above , there is probably no chance of it all being the exact same company name with the same company number , hence why it's down to the fine detail1

There is no 'Britannia Parking' so read it again and look at what Umkomaas is saying. You are missing the point.
Is the claim really in this exact name?Britannia Parking Group Limited
The PCN and signage and landowner authority, won't be.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

As above
The full, correct name is absolutely vital for you to check. You must then provide the company numbers. Each company has a unique one, and if you see two different numbers they are different entities
you can on,y contract with a single entity - the precise one named on the sign. The landholder ha likely contracted with a different entity. This would mean the company suing you lacks authority to operate. They can't offer contracts. They can't lawfully sue. Nothing. So
privude exact, precise names AND company numbers (company's house website fir the latter) that go with each, using the list provided, ASAP.3 -
Hello all - thank you for your helpful comments and guiding me. I have had some assistance and can confirm the following:
*******************
PCN: Britannia Parking Group Ltd Reg 08182990
Reply to my denial: Britannia Parking Group Ltd Reg 08182990
PCN - Final Reminder: Britannia Parking Group Ltd Reg 08128990 (note - not the same as above or following reg numbers provided)
Collection letter: bw legal on behalf of Britannia Parking Group Ltd (no address or reg number)
LOC: bw legal on behalf of Britannia Parking Group Ltd (no address or reg number)
Letter - 20% discount offer due to COVID-19: bw legal on behalf of Britannia Parking Group Ltd (no address or reg number)
LOC: bw legal on behalf of Britannia Parking Group Ltd (no address or reg number)
NOC: bw legal on behalf of Britannia Parking Group Ltd (no address or reg number)
N1: Britannia Parking Group Ltd (address but no reg number)
Signage: Britannia Parking Group Ltd reg 08182990 - address provided
******************
The Companies House registration number is 08182990 for Britannia Parking Group Ltd. Addresses on letters from bw legal for Britannia Parking Group Ltd not provided. Addresses on parking lot signage and correspondence from Britannia Parking Group Ltd are consistent and match that of Companies House registration.
Thoughts appreciated.

Correction: The signage does also say Britannia Parking Group (there's no Ltd) and the address and reg number that match Companies House
The signage does not say who the landowner is, just that it's operated by Britannia Parking Group1 -
It seems they have got that boxed off in your case. Not an avenue to explore now. Watch for anything further that might be submitted in the name 'Britannia Parking Services', or 'Britannia Parking Ltd', or any name they use inconsistent with the name used already.

We still need to know which Britannia the landholder has contracted with - or have I missed that?2 -
Good point @KeithP, missed that possibility in my posting above.KeithP said:But as @nosferatu1001 said:nosferatu1001 said:
