Update on this... After persisting with the issue Lowell have agreed to close the account and remove the default after looking into circumstances behind the debt. I am just wondering if I am eligible to be refunded for the £80 I paid off the account, I made the payments because although I knew the default wasn't deserved I was worried about bailiffs and the contest letters asking for payment. Not the default has been found to be wrong and is being removed can I ask for this money back?0
