Yes, always good to have a reasonable and sensible debate, I have undertaken due diligence for financing on similar companies and the commercial applications are difficult to justify without explicit government support in the form of subsidy or taxation of alternatives, this has been the case for incinerator/ waste to energy/ energy recovery facilities. The process may or may not leave harmful residue, the problem being that from a taxation and legislative perspective it is still a waste product and subject to tax on final disposal. Turning hydocarbons into hydrogen gas obviously leaves a carbon residue by definition.Old_Lifer said:The world has moved on since the early days. Nowadays PHE's process produces no toxins and if I understand correctly at the end of the process all that is left is inert white powder.Forum members will no doubt read about both companies and will be able to decide for themselves whether they believe your posts or the information issued in the RNS's of the companies concerned.
Whether there is commercial viability remains to be seen, which potentially has little bearing on returns for investors as speculation can push share prices well beyond that justifiable, and similarly can result in total loss.
I'd hope that people's due diligence would go well beyond this discussion and any RNS feed before they risk their hard earned money.1 -
I see no reason to add to my last post. I think we must agree to disagree,
