Dear all
Just wondered what members' opinions were on PHE. This has just been mentioned elsewhere as part of a more general topic, but having looked at its recent performance it seems to have shot up. I believe this is a penny share type stock, and I know the volatility of these. Is it worth considering?
Thanks

Not one for me, far too much hype on LSE, the penny share groups on Facebook and Twitter and price is more as a result of pumping rather than fundamentals.

Why this particular Stock, investing in stocks is risky, you have to ensure your due diligence, just because it goes up, doesn't mean it's a good stock.

Why not invest in more well known stocks where you know a return will be good, such as Tesla, amazon, Apple e.t.c
Or even better in passive index trackers where the risk is far less but you still get a good return"It is prudent when shopping for something important, not to limit yourself to Pound land/Estate Agents"

PHE is one of the eight AIM companies in which I currently own shares. I have been a shareholder for around 4 years, topping-up on dips in the share price. I am happy to hold for the long term but since i don't need to sell , I am really not interested in short term ups and downs in the share price. Last time I looked I think I was up around 700 percent. The involvement of Peel should be transformational for the company. I understand the management of PHE pay themselves quite modestly. May I suggest that as a very minimum, you read every PHE RNS issued in the last two years. This should help you gain some understanding of the company and help you decide if investing in the company is right for you.Like many PHE shareholders, I also own shares in AFC whose shares have also risen sharply in the the past year.0

Well I bought into this donkeys years ago (about 2010) when it was known as Bidtimes which then bought PHE in a reverse takeover. PHE was supposed to the next big thing and have been promising that they are on the verge of commercialisation ever since!Old-Lifer obviously got in right at or near the bottom and has done well. I hope he's right about longer term prospects although I'm not convinced but hang on in hope (as it's not really worth selling the pittance I still hold). This was one of my newbie mistakes . Anyway only need it to go up 10 fold from current price and I might even break evenYou could make a good profit with PHE but it's still very speculative in my view and there are better penny shares out there in the same green/future energy sector that I reckon have better prospects and that are closer to commercialisation/profitability than PHE.0

May I urge caution with PHE. The share price has rocketed yesterday and on opening today as more people discover the company. I would expect day traders and other 'get rich quick merchants' to pile-in, so would expect a sharp drop in the share price on profit taking.

I happened upon this thread(Friday18th Dec) and, after reading Old Lifer, I did a miniscule amount of research on EQT.I decided to have a punt as a christmas present to myself, as I am bored stupid at the moment (going Covid crazy).Yesterday I cleared the spread, and dealing costs, in and out, today EQT is up again.I could close that trade now and make 30%+ in just over one days trading. So a big thankyou Old Lifer.0
