NEW 4K TV Ultra HD with SKY Q

Hi guys,
After 15 or so years i have finally decided to upgrade my TV to a 4k Ultra HD (HDR). I currently have the full SKY Q package HD, all the channels.

My questions is do i need to call SKY or upgrade my package to view programmes on 4k/ Ultra HD or is it within my current subscription package.

i believe they charge more for UHD,but not a lot of content about and tour tv will upscale.
Ensure u buy tv from Richersounds.

Thanks - so there is an extra charge for UHD. What benefit is it getting the UHD 4k TV if i cant watch programmes on itt without paying extra.

Why richersounds? I went to currys BNPL - but i feel i made a mistake on my TV. I went for a Samsung 75 HDR LED 4k.

I am regretting not going for a OLED or QLED

Generally Richer Sounds are cheaper, they offer a 6 year warranty included in the price ,and I'm led to believe that their aftersales service is infinitely better than Currys !!

UHD 4K  is the TV specs you can get content free  4K  YouTube Netflix etc  and some I Player content .

It might be a good idea to see if your SKY Q box handles UHD - check here https://www.sky.com/help/articles/check-which-sky-q-box

You can watch 4K Blu-ray discs.  You can watch other 4K content out there.  There is some on iPlayer.  Amazon has 4K content for nothing extra.  There is 4K stuff on YouTube.

To confirm i called SKY and somehow got this amazing deal. I believe they are still taking calls so i suggest you call them and get upgraded if you are on SKY,

Full package, Signature, Movies, Sports, Boxsets, HD, ULTRA HD, Netflix premium, Kids, multi rooms, One SKY Q and two mini boxes for £57 a month. Locked in for 18 months. 

Absolutely chuffed i got this price and to be honest, a bit shocked. I suggest you call them

BTW - Ultra HD is FREE for anyone who has multi boxes with SKY Q. So go ahead and get it if you dont already.

Only available free if you have one of the newer boxes, sadly i have one of the first skyq boxes

can you not upgrade to a new box? Will they charge? Call them this weekend, they are being generous re black friday deals
