I went to log into the app, and it told me to call up when I did they said a note to close my account was on there... any idea why? I have also just applied for a Barclaycard and been approved, after sending proof of income, is this likely to be closed too?
I'll answer a few Q's I think I might get..
Never been bankrupt or had a CCJ..
Few defaults.. (3) from late last year

Thanks for the input all... Spoke to Barclays, nothing fraud-related, they said it is due to a dormant account from years ago...

At age 13 no debt would be permitted though & if it was it would definitely be unenforcable due to being under 18.

The account was never used, it was just dormant. They said it costs money to banks to have these accounts open and it may be a reason to refuse a new application.0
