Citizens Advice told me it was a breach of contract for the initial £300 being taken. Then for each and every subsequent time they promised to refund.
Having a company take money randomly from your account is absolutely not on. £75 to one person could be the difference between having enough food to last the month. I don't think it should be taken lightly and I don't think 20 days (for OP) and 24 days for myself is reasonable when they have taken money illegally.
Citizens Advice have also filed a report with Trading Standards for this.
It has been far too long though. I have used all my free minutes speaking to them over the last month and it has been very frustrating. The whole thing has put me off ever buying anything from them again.
When something goes wrong, fair enough. But trying to get it sorted like you have experiences, has been a nightmare.
She promised me that she would try and get some kind of solution as I was supposed to be refunded today (this was the 4th time I was promised). If it is not a suitable solution tomorrow, then I will initiate section 75.0 -
I am almost astounded that the UK arm claim they are nothing to do with Manilla where they say 'sales' are based. My phone was delivered within 36 hours so there is no chance it came from Manilla0
