ZIPCAR PCN appeals.. Anyone had any luck??

HI everyone! Wondering if anyone can shed some light on Zipcars policy when dealing with PCN appeals.  I received a 'moving violation' and I believe I have acceptable grounds to appeal, as the sign was not clearly visible and its a new restricted access lane they have just introduced. I have sent a mail to zip car stating the Article 6 right of representation, with no reply yet.

They have already charged me the £65 plus '£15 admin fee' yesterday, 2 weeks after the contravention occurred and when they were first notified.  From my understanding we only have 2 weeks from the date of the incident to appeal.  I have done so via Croydon's PCN representation form on their website, however as I am not the registered keeper of the car I'm not sure what the next steps are..

Here are the terms and conditions of Zip Car:

I don't see any mention of limitation of appeal regarding fines/PCN .

If anyone has had any similar dealings with Zip Car do please advise??

Thanks so much!

You've posted this in the Motoring Board.

You should repost it in the Parking Tickets sub-board for the best guidance.

I very much doubt there's any grounds for appeal of the ticket - because Zipcar have already paid it.

The OP is asking about Zipcar's Ts & Cs, and whether they should have had the chance to appeal before Zipcar simply paid...

This is covered under section 4.4 of the London member contract linked to by the OP, and section 6 of the Additional Charges Schedule linked to from there... They seem to be perfectly normal for a rental car, and if the OP didn't like them, the OP had the choice to not rent a car from Zipcar (or, tbh, from just about anybody else).

I'm not sure "Well, you've changed it and I didn't see the sign" is a viable appeal for driving on a bit of road that they shouldn't have been using, anyway.
