Decorative and practical (if your cooking is anything like mine).Any language construct that forces such insanity in this case should be abandoned without regrets. –

I'd gone looking for cheap Air Pods and they'd sold out by 4am! 😂MovingForwards said:

I mop our laminate floor in the kichen/diner, trying to make sure it's fully dry before walking on it. It's close to 20 years old and is fine. If I'm being lazy I use floor wipes pinned down with a rubber sweeping brush.0

Is it possible that your house just gets more dust than your previous place? When I moved from an inner city area to the suburbs, I was expecting much less dust, but I'm on a busy road and wow, there's so much dust every day!
To clean laminate, I just use a microfibre mop. You can use it just with water, so you're not adding to your home's environmental pollution with cleaning chemicals if you're really doing it so often. I got this one: https://smile.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00B8Q8R46 and it's been a godsend. Really easy to use and the floor doesn't get very wet. You can add floor cleaner to the water bottle if you need a proper clean, but if you're just dealing with dust on the floor, then water alone will be fine.0
