Sim only plan expiring soon. Can I haggle the price down?
Hi
I have a very basic Sim only plan with EE. It expires in 20 days. It costs me £8pm
I barely use the data or phone anyone.
Is it worth haggling EE on price? I could probably get cheaper elsewhere, but not sure I can deal with the bother. (or is it easy?). Ive been with EE for many years, and never had any issues.
Thanks

its easy!!!!! Use this page to choose your deal Best Sim only Deals: Compare the best cheap offers from £4 a month - MSE (moneysavingexpert.com) also check around for black friday deals. Then apply for the tariff, request a pac code from your existing supplier, once new sim arrives give your pac code to new supplier then you will get a switch date (probably next working day) and you should then get a final bill from EE1

Request your PAC from EE and say you're moving to the Lebara cheapest monthly plan when they ask you, they will probably match it on a 12-month discounted contract. If not, make the move (if you can be bothered enough to save the money...).Evolution, not revolution1

If you barely use data or the phone is it worth considering a payg sim?
Just be aware that if you do actually use data or make phone calls then a payg option can prove to be expensive.
If you want to stay with the EE network then Plusnet can save you a couple of pounds a month and they have rolling monthly contracts rather than be committed to a year or more.1
