Buy a lettuce, rip off a leaf, run it under a tap then slap your face with it for 5 minutes.0

If you're struggling with your conscience, just give it away and write off the spend. I'll take it off your hands.0

Sell it for as much as possible and give the profits to a charity.

Sell it and enjoy the profits, when did making money become a dilemma.
Nothing to see here, move along.0 -

I would be seen as a v moral person by current views. But what is moral in general is a societal decision. I would guess I would be well into that view by saying 'sell it', but if you feel (rather than making a judgement based on personal logic) that it might disbenefit someone, then do what you think is right.0

Stick it on EBay, auction only, it's out of your control if people bid over what you paid, they are willing to pay.0

Knowing I’ve not lost any money (as she paid me retail price for it) and that kid will have the biggest smile on Christmas day is payment enough for me.I considered returning back to the shop but I didn’t want it to land in the hand of a scalper.

Quite frankly, apart from the Demon's Souls remake and Godfall, practically every PS5 game is also available on PS4 (Miles Morales, Sackboy: A Big Adventure), so there's no real need to upgrade unless you are very concerned with minutiae like frame rates and raytracing. Sell it, then consider buying another one at the end of the year when there'll be more 'proper' PS5 games available (like Deathloop and Returnal) and the price might have possibly dropped a small amount as well.0
