Vodamoan.
As has become the norm in the last 15 years with outsourced IT which the company cannot control or work with, I have had a voda issue when doing a recent upgrade.
For some reason, when the upgrade email was recieved the address was my old one for 5 odd years ago. Yes it probably said on the website but why would you pay attention (it may even have been an expandable) to something like that when there have been 2 upgrade perfectly fine since the move, and the address change on day 1 or 2 of being in the new house!
So tried to get in contact, which is hard right now, web chat worked fastest. However got texts saying address updated to old address. Though the right address is again showing on the account. Also even though contacted right away they cannot cancel and are telling dpd to update and send to the right address.
No admission of fault. I have 2 emails of the previous 2 upgrades (new phone things), and then all had the correct address. I also think it is bad that voda do not offer to email you the call transcript from online, I did however copy it.
Fortunatly with DPD at least you get a call with a time in the morning so I can ask about address. However if they will then stop it if it is still wrong who knows. Time for a call recording app I think.
So people, maybe check you voda addresses and see if they have done it to you. Me and partner have been customers for many years (yes i know people hate voda, but TBF they are all just as bad, it's just personal experience and all due to bad IT as mentioned). Only happened to one of the 2 accounts, but do check and moan if it occured to you.
I hope I do not have to come on here later and moan about them trying to charge me for a delivery to an address they messed up that has been "stolen" by the current owner.
