PS. I don't believe Harrison Bathrooms are related to the branded name of Mode Harrison. All my searches results for 'Mode Harrison', end up with either the retailer (Victoria......) or other sites, such as Manomano, who have a Mode Harrison bath, but state the seller is Victoria.....

Wow, thanks badgeraudio, what a find! That's brilliant. (I also did a search on Wayback Machine, but got no hits at all).

As you say it's not quite the same as mine. I believe it was actually called Mode Matrix at the time, but my unit has an oval plate and 3 valves.

But nevertheless, my confidence is restored that my unit DID actually come with a 10 yr guarantee. Whether this is enough to convince the retailer, or get them to accept this as evidence (clearly not in the interest), remains to be seen.

As Wayback Machine captured this item (same retailer, almost the same unit), maybe, just maybe, my actual purchased item is still lurking out there in the dungeon depths.

I really appreciate your, and everyone else's support - and it's a most interesting journey for me, showing just how much info is out there.

As there clearly a correlation between the retailer's product name/code and their product's web address, I checked the original receipt.

On there the product was called "Matrix Oval Triple Thermostatic Shower Valve Offer Pack" and the product code was PPACK0650.

I modified the address in Wayback Machine and not results were returned. I then tried another few small changes and still nothing. Just thought I would update my progress here.

Think I might have found something for you.

There’s a brochure from 2014 and if you search Matrix it brings up shower valves. On the  title of the page there’s the 10 year guarantee shield logo, indicating it applies to all of them. Page 162

Wow Lip_Stick, another amazing find, and another site I wasn't aware of. Thank you ever so much.

I double checked to see what other catalogues they had, and this was the latest - shame they didn't have the Winter 15/Spring 16 Catalogue - that would have nailed for good !!

Thank you  Lip_Stick, and everyone else - I have learnt so much in 2 days.

If anyone manages to find the Victoriaplum bathroom catalogue for Winter 15/Spring 16 then, not only will I be speechless and forever thankful, but also that'll be it - done and dusted, and if the retailer doesn't comply then I have Section 75 and FOS for backup.

Oh, life is becoming so sweet   :>))

ETA: The link works ok. Turn the pages by moving your finger tip from the top corner of the page to the other side. It is definitely from 2015 as page 7 mentions the year.

Found the 2016 brochure and that differs from the previous ones. It doesn’t have the guarantee printed on the individual pages and looks to be only 5 years judging by a brief look, but hopefully the 2015 is ok for proof.

And all the shower valve and heads pages mention "10 year guarantee" at the top of the page.

But the OP bought in 2016. Ot looks like  the guarantee was changed between the 2015 brochure and the 2016 oine.
The date of the change will be relevant. 
The OP may have been using an  out of date brochure.
