I can only suggest trying the purchase again from the Myplan website.
Also and this is very slim, that they've/computer been spooked by you trying to use your whole credit limit within a week. Try waiting or make a smaller purchase.
How does this appear in your credit file? If you are doing buy now and pay later, does it start straight away on your file?0 -
xlnc99 said:Also quick question - did you ever get your credit limit increased throughout you time with Currys or has it stayed the same.
Personally as I've only had the account since May and the limit is already generous its probably not something I will look in to.

I see - so on your credit file it says your balance for the current time i.e
your limit is 5k and your balance is 2k as you made purchases from day 1 and did a buy now pay later. So this will reflect on your file from day 1 showing you are using 3k of your limit. But when it comes to payments each month, there will be no green tick just a U mark
Is that right?0 -
Also - what ring doorbell did you go for? I am lookign for one myself and not sure which is the best.0

I can see where this is heading...0

Have you made any payments to the account, yet?If no, then that may be the reason...... with the additional purchase nearly maxing out the credit limit and with no history there maybe a cap on the account for x months until a repayment history shows.0

I’ve just had this happen to me. I’ve £3500 limit. Bought one thing then when to buy a second item and discovered I was locked from buying anything else on your plan. How did you get the lock removed?0

basically what i found was it was too close my limit as a new customer. So even though they gave me 2000 limit, i went to close too it and they refused the item. I did another order a little lower and it went through fine.
After a month or two you can use your full limit
That is what i think and that is what happened to me0
