As per the title, has anyone had any dealings with this either in the past or very recently. I recently got accepted for a buy now pay later interest free 6 months. The item i bought cost 900 and i have a credit limit of £2,000. However, i tried to purchase something else for £1000 and got rejected even though i was inside my credit limit. After going back and forth on the phone with creation finance, they kept telling my different stories, i.e a block on the account which is now removed, systems are down etc etc. So i tried again, rejected again for the second item even though it was under my credit limit. More phone calls, and more excuses i.e systems are down, and lots of customers have been complaining about the same thing and to try again after lockdown??? I asked them why it would take 2 weeks for theirs systems to be updated they said they have no idea. Basically, i dont think they are telling the truth and no what is going on.
Two questions
1 - Does the Curry your plan finance agreement show up on your credit files? Anyone have one?
2 - Anyone experience something similar when purchasing something in their credit agreement?

Not had the problem you refer to.
Curry's Finance appears on all my credit files

From what I can see their initial 0% offer was just for the first purchase, it is also not clear that they ever offered 0% on their flexible plan, but looks like your 0% finance offer would have been for one product only, with the option to open the flexible payment plan after and at 24.9% APR unless the item or items you need are absolutely essential I would steer clear of that.0

I'm unable to fault them tbh.
I have bought 5 items from Curry's using their BNPL finance since I opened the account in May. No issues purchasing to date and items delivered swiftly.
I was more worried about the time that they process payments as I read that they were a little slow, so paid my first purchase off 6 weeks early (due late December) but it was treated more like a faster payment and was showing on the account as paid within minutes.
All in all very pleased and will be using it in the future for all my tech purchases, subject to value.0 -

As long as you have the limit available to you there shouldn't be any issues with your order. All I will say is try making a purchase through your Curry's Myplan website as opposed to through the Curry's website.0 -
Baffling! I am not sure what is going on! Ive just tried again myself and it keeps coming back as 'rejected'. I got an item on Sunday, no issues, first time i was using it and went through straight away. Gave me a 2k limit so i got over 1k left. Went online to try purchase something for within my limit, and keeps coming back as rejected. I cant understand it. Do you think its too close to my credit limit or something? The staff on the phone have no idea, keep going around in circles with different stories.
Also - everytime you make a purchase does it come back with a soft search on your file?0 -
Ok - Very strange i just did a test. Just to clarify -
2k limit
Bought an item for £900
Credit limit remaining £1101.
Tried to purchase a second item for £1099 - Kept getting rejected. No-one could understand why. Tried 5 times!
Now i tried again for a cheaper item for some headphones i wanted, and it went through no issue?
Cant understand it - was it perhaps to close to the credit limit? How close did you go to the credit limit for your items?0 -

I can only suggest trying the purchase again from the Myplan website.
Also and this is very slim, that they've/computer been spooked by you trying to use your whole credit limit within a week. Try waiting or make a smaller purchase.0 -
Also quick question - did you ever get your credit limit increased throughout you time with Currys or has it stayed the same.0
