Not aware of any network that will do what you want. However, Asda Mobile will allow you to top up with just £1 by card and then you should be able to port back out without issue.

If you buy the Asda SIM in store, 50p, it has credit on already and ready to go without any more topping up required

  • Ifs there a required amount of time you have to be off the network you want to port back onto ?
    If that makes sense

Are you doing this because 3 won't transfer their own SIM from PAYG to (presumably) a contract?

I'm looking at porting my number
I have a 3 sim card here (I'm porting from/back to EE) will I need to top up the 3 sim
or would I be best getting an Asda Sim in store.

    Thanks

    The 10p/20p O2 classics(ebay 20p for 1 or 2)
    ) might be an option
    port out
    don't top up.
    port back

I might be trying that to get a 321(prices going up) to a data reward

I thought three would let you upgrade a PAYG number to contract or is it the other way round?
