True - the whole market search proved that separate suppliers are cheapest (excluding cashback) in my case. Although the cheapest electricity-only supplier that was returned in the results did take an online discount into account; the discount is deduced from your bill every month.

Shell were apparently offering £150 dual-fuel bill credit (paid in January 2021 and January 2022) and the Cheap Energy Club are offering £25 cashback on top. I went with Shell's deal at the last minute but have queried the bill credit with the Cheap Energy Club as Shell were initially offering only £35 bill credit, and it was a sharp increase to £150 just before the deal ended. I have fourteen days to cancel the switch to Shell and go with separate suppliers instead. Taking the cashback and bill credit into account, the deal with Shell would be much cheaper than even going with separate suppliers (after a whole market search).

Taking cashback and bill credit into account - Shell is the cheapest. Otherwise, separate suppliers are cheapest. I was curious to know whether other people factor Cheap Energy Club cashback and supplier bill credit into their annual costs, or just go with the cheapest supplier(s) excluding cashback/bill credit.
