BA Executive Club Household Account

Hi
I wonder if anyone can answer the following please?
We have a BA Executive Club household account and I know that if you don’t claim a new avios point every 3 years you will lose them but does everyone in the household account need to earn every 3 years or can one person do so to keep the whole account still active?

18.1.17. The Avios points balance of individual Household Account Members shall expire in accordance with Clause 14.4 if the individual Household Account Member has not earned or redeemed Avios points or purchased or transferred Avios points in accordance with the Conditions of Use for 36 consecutive months. Notwithstanding Clause 3.12.1, in such circumstances, the membership of the individual Household Account Member and the Household Account shall continue in effect.

If a member of the household account does not have activity for 3 years their points will expire but they will still be in the household account. If losing points is a risk due to not travelling it would be worth looking at the alternative ways to keep the account alive, especially since Tesco club card stopping. You could look at the Avios eStore or purchasing Avios
