Budget Mobile Phone Choice
Hi,
Just looking for some first hand experience of any of these three budget mobile phones we have been looking at on the web/ytube .
The Samsung A21S , Motorola G9 Play and the Nokia 5.3. All around the £150 mark, the Samsung was the dearest at £179 but today being sold for £139 by most places. !
All very similar but all seem to have their minor plus and minus points,
but not seen any review giving the nod to any particular one.
Our needs are primarily a big screen for ease of use for phone calls, email, web /browsing and photos etc. Ytubes /Videos/Games not really used, mainly because of our current small screen handset.

I can only comment on the G9 Play. A more than adequate device with excellent battery life. A bit more RAM than the A21S at 4GB.64GB internal memory, expandable using micro s.d. card. Speaker and microphone are fine. No problems with phone calls. Not bad performance all round. The display is not good at 720p and not very bright. It isn't my main phone so not fussed about bells and whistles. No problems with the camera, good enough results.1

Thanks @oldagetraveller1 , have the old G3 atm, good as a phone but always seems a bit slow / small screen for online work,Think the screens of all those 3 new ones are all IPS and very similar quality / resolution.0

Based on recommendation, my wife and I both purchased the Moto G3 a number of years back.
My wife broke the screen, so upgraded to the G5 based on the superb experience with the G3 and didn't look at any alternatives.
I subsequently upgraded to a G7 Power.
All of these phones have been so great, I cannot see any reason we would look outside this "family" when next upgrades are required.
I can't comment with any experience on the Samsung or the Nokia mentioned, except if I was to look away from the Moto, then the Nokia would be my alternate choice.1 -
