BT Broadband Problems

Hi
I was wondering if anyone could advise me on the best way to approach the problems I am currently have with BT broadband and TV.

I moved from sky at the end of August since then I have had nothing but problems.  So far I have had a faulty hub and tv box I had to wait over a week for these so no internet or tv.
The broadband constantly drops out then on the 30th October it stops working and I am told there is a fault on the line resolved on the 5th November.

last night the broadband went off again and I am told there is a fault with the line and they hope to fix it on the 25th November.

I am currently working remotely from home because I am IT Technician at a secondary school.
Thanks

As a residential line you have no leverage to get rapid repair , only a business line gets that .

The switch from sky is a red herring , the fault is between you and the exchange and sky broadband used the same connection as BT broadband to the exchange.

If the cable fault requires closing or digging up a road then council permits are required .

Don't BT give a MIFI dongle when there's a fault with your broadband, not sure what packages it applies to but seen it on an advert
