Options re boiler cover for 12yo boiler/if don't renew when can you be a 'new ' customer?

Err, is your eyesight ok?!!!  Why not just pop the money in an account and use the balance to pay for service when you need it?

Because as I've already said, I've found it very difficult to get any tradesman out where I live, I've been trying to get someone to sort out my leaking gutter and rotted fascia for about 15 months and got nowhere.

I am sure there was something in the news or was it on here about trustpilot & deleting good reviews if you don't pay them.  Personal recommendation is the only way to go for me.  I certainly wouldn't pay for a very expensive annual contract.  There have been some threads on here about them not turning up anyway.
