Not sure how true it is but I spoke to a bloke at my local game store, he told me that the reason for the shortage of Wii Play and controllers is due to the fact that Nintendo have decided to repackage them so existing stock had been recalled in order for them to do this and the stores are just awaiting the new stock.
As I say not sure if this is true or not but I know a couple of sites have said withdrawn from sale or something similar so it could be possible.

They didn't recall the previous ones, they just sold them all.
As for nunchucks, they really aren't so difficult to find. I have seen them in Asda and Sainsburys in the last week, as well as several online stores.0 -

Hi, just to warn you, I ordered Wii play for £34.99 from Play.com at 3.30pm on Friday afternoon which was showing as in stock and received my confirmation email. I had to phone them that day about another order problem and was informed that "by the way" the Wii play was not in stock and that they weren't likely to be getting any more in!! I am really annoyed as I received the confirmation email and if I hadn't of phoned I would of been waiting for it this week. Anyone that has ordered it from them should check as they're probably all selling them on ebay for double the price!!!0

does anyone use Studio? I have never heard of them but found Wii Play on their site. I'm a bit dubious because i seem to have ordered it without paying for it :? They say they will invoice me later.
