I had one reserved at Bedford today until 1800. I was only going there to pick my daughter up from Uni and bring her home for Christmas. When I got into the store, I gave them the reservation number, and the girl said they had none left. :mad:

She suggested I go to Gamestation and see if they had any in, and just shrugged her shoulders at me.

I asked to see the manager, and told them their reservation system was c**p.

Eventually, he brought one out that someone else had reserved. I took it, but told him that he was only passing the problem on to someone else tomorrow.

The trouble with Argos' reservation system is that internet ones have no name against them, so anyone can walk in, say they've reserved it but forgotten the number. The assistant will then just use whichever number is still on the system. If you ring them, they will put your name on the reservation, and it will probably still be there when you get there.
