just picked up a wii play + remote at the Toys r us forge retail park Glasgow, they had a load in but had to ask at customer services for them as they're not on display.

I have reserved two at my local ARGOS store in Scotland, one for me and one for my friend but she doesn't want it as she cant afford it. I know this ain't allowed but does anyone want it for cost price, plus recorded delivery? I'm a regular on these forums and will accept paypal.

trying to get in contact with them is a nightmare :mad: so dont know if i'll get it before xmas

I know they show in stock, but I doubt they really have them. The disclaimer says despatched direct from the manufacturer in about 14 days, but they also say that they will take orders for wii consoles but will not supply before Xmas. I hate sites like this. If they do not have them, they should be clear.

Just managed to get a reservation for a Wii play at Argos Reading (Oxford Road). Also noticed Argos Slough was showing availability.

I rang them today because I was a little worried after being let down by play.com (they confirmed my order then said there were none in stock) Gamestation assured me that if it had been confirmed by email then it was ok, even so, the guy on the phone went to check and said it was ok and would be with me before Christmas. It is still showing as processing for me also but the chap I spoke to seemed pretty confident it was fine. I hope so I've just bought a nunchuck on the assumption that the remote will arrive it's going to be pretty useless without it

I phoned Studio as I heard that they weren't getting any in before Christmas - I had an invoice for the amount, so phoned to confirm I'd be getting them only to be told that they weren't due in stock till January.

I've now cancelled the order AND the account - they have a tendancy to bombard you with crap mail.

You'll need to ignore the "out of stock message at the bottom" - they have just changed to in-stock on the description next to the actual item itself.
