    Press button 9 to get the reading in m3. That is the reading you give to your supplier - they will do the calculations to get to kWh
    Never pay on an estimated bill. Always read and understand your bill
  • Thank You, Hopefully the Energy company sees the issue as well, sent them the photos. Theses Smart/Dumb meters are difficult to use, I crave for the days when I could just open the door, move a few things shine a light in and get a reading. Currently I have been dragging stuff out of a cupboard, and following internet instructions which results in the results what I got.

    Puzzled - Correct responses given and problem solved
    BUT The number of Kws in a given meter unit vary because the quality of the gas varies, and this is adjusted on the billing, so how come a meter that isn't even smart, accurately calculate the total Kws used to 2 decimal places ?

    It probably works on the industry median of 11.2 Kw for a Metric gas meter unit, but looking back thro' my own gas bills, it never calculates to this figure and is usually decimal points below - So just how accurate is the Kw register after 10 years+ service?
