    No limits for DLA.

The answer for ESA will depend on whether it is Contribution Based, Income Related or both.
  • I have looked at his letter it states contribution - based and support allowance has ended in may 2020 because of 365 days so pay him now 170.85 a week

I'm guessing from what you've said, he is in WRAG as that ESA CB lasts 365 days (then you are moved to if eligible to ESA IR after filling in an ESA3)

The amount you mentioned also fits, WRAG component (for awards prior to April 2017) +SDP =£170.85

If so, on ESA IR savings limits are £6000. For every £250 above that £1 is taken off the weekly ESA award. If savings exceed 16000 no ESA is payable.

For you, there's no higher limit. Savings of up to £10,000 are ignored. For savings/capital over this amount there's a £1 deduction for every £500 (or part there of)  over that amount. https://www.gov.uk/pension-credit/eligibility

  • I forgot to add my AA lower rate to the BP & PC

Makes no difference because AA is not means tested, which means savings do not affect the amount you're entitled to.
  • Thank you for your help .

Also DLA/PIP is not dependant on savings - you could be a multi millionaire and (in theory), still claim DLA/PIP exactly the same as Joe Bloggs
